Great to see Barry McN and Lara sailing in Anton H’s GP14. Bill and James J and Ken and Davy L had a good race with just a few seconds between them in both races.

No wind – cancelled

Racing today in very variable winds ranging from F0 to F4. Sunshine at all times! Course from a start at the slipway over to the corner mark in Culmore Bay up to Harts run down to the Powerstation back through the line.

Great to see Colum and Eve out today, welcome back guys, we hope to see you for the Boom Race. Great to see George G out again also.

Anton H and Barry McN were going well in the red GP in race one but slowed way down for race two to say nothing of the sudden increase in performance from the J’s boat. Ken and Davy L were none to troubled by anyone spending the whole day out front.

A tug buzzed Anton H and Barry McN at the end of race two.

Sailing was scheduled for 11 in Moville today but it was cancelled due to high winds. Sailing in Culmore at 10.00am also looked doubtful but the hardy folk in LFYC decided actually it was a nice day for a sail and  ventured out.
A course was set in Culmore bay starting at the slipway up to Harts, run down to to a mark in the bay, reach over to the powerstation back through the line twice around. Very windy. F5-7. Bill J unfortunately went around a mark the wrong way in race 1. Anton H was going well in the Laser sailing with everything on and block to block on the beat. The reaches across the bay were very fast and intense. Nobody went swimming and a good day of sailing was had by all.

High wind sailing today in very shifty gusty conditions. Racing from the Perch to Conniborrow, over to Faughan back up to the Power station. In the first race Peter F/James H broke a shackle and had to retire. Anton H and Barry McN had a multiple capsize on a very dead run down to Faughan. Second race change of course to Culmore Bay. Three boats missed a mark leaving the way open to Anton H and Barry McN. Thanks to Ken L for OD.

Light wind action tonight. Race times over 80 minutes!

Great to see George G out sailing in his Solo. George sold his Laser to new Lee C. We look forward to seeing Lee out in his new craft in due course.

Starting from a Mark near the perch, beat down to Faughan, reach to Muff run back down to the mark near the Perch. A very dead run and a long beat with nice reach across the bay. A good sailing day F4 to start easing to F3.
